so.. Thursday, me and an ususpecting Ali head off to London (I dont mean she wasnt expecting to go to London.. we'd booked it and stuff, I didnt kidnap her or trick her.. I mean unsuspecting of what was to come..)
I was a very excited bunny. This showed upon arrival at the Cock Tavern, when I barrel hugged an unsuspecting Michael as he was leaving, before practically throwing myself up the stairs in my rush to go see everyone who'd made it to the said venue that eve. I couldn't talk to anyone for about 5 minuets, as I actually was too excited. I just hopped around, and squealed, and grinned a grin to rival the cheshire cat's hovering gob. Ask Wilf :D
When I finally calmed down ebnough to get a drink and have a chat with my friends, it turned out to be the BEST COCK EVER. (the cock jokes will never get old..ever) Not only were some of my favorite joinee's there (Although I did unfortunatley miss Tobes and Mr Kenington, due to them going to see some rubbish gig instead..) Lots of jokes, a new adopted big brother, lots of inapropriate behaviour (mostly on my part) and an inordinate amount of cider being drunk (favorite cider moment.. Sean buying my two halves as I'd told him I couldn't drink a pint, cause pints are too big! woo! loophole ;P )
I nearly threw up and pee'd myself on the way back to the hostle. Thankfully I managed not to do either.
Friday saw shopping down Oxford St, and then on to outdoor iceskating at the Tower of London.. Which was much fun, even though it was raining. I didnt fall over and bust my chin :) And I was very nice and held both Lou, and Phils hands as they went round :) (favorite quote.. "NO TRAINS" or.. "fuck off I'm cool!")
Saturday.. was.. imagine the biggest grin you have ever seen. multiply by infinity. THAT was Saturday.
It started with meeting up the the boy DHW. When I saw him I almost ran infront of cars in my excitement :) we then went for breakfast which was muchos fun.
Then off to pick up the newbies at piccadilly circus, armed with out signs so they couldnt miss us! We went onto Goldnen square after being moved on for 'causing an obstruction' hehe!
Upon arrival at Golden Square I was again, very very excited! As was everyone else, the atmosphere was absolutley amazing :) My fave memory of Golden square is Spaca trying to 'join me' sticker a pidgeon! and being introduced to people by Sweeny and Spaca thus.. "This is my sister.. she is number 3 prostitute in all of khasakstan.. BUT NUMBER 1 IN HULL!" thanks guys!
Then the fun started! All of us excited joinees, armed with our Free Hugs! signs (frugs!) and x,as cards, sweets and presents, made our way en masse through London, down Oxford street and onto Regent street, giving out hugs, sweets, cards, presents and christmas cheer. It was AMAZING. Oxford and Regent st's were both closed to traffic for the christmas shoppers and there were loads of street performers and FAKE SNOW and things and it was brilliant. Favorite quotes include.. "No! I really dont need socks.. someone already gave me chocolate, that was bad enough!", "Don't eat it it might be contaminated!" "you guys have restored my faith in Londoners" and "They must be hippies"
Then to the PUB! Lots and lots of fun was had at the pub (as always) it was VERY crowded though, and Ali snuck back to the hostle, perhaphs fearing for her life..
Danny gave a stirling speech, forgave me for calling him a geek last year, and called Tim a Wanker! which was really funny :)
I remember less and less of the pub times, as alcohol fuzzed my brain. I do remember being very bad at distracting Nick Lipinski (nephew extrodanaire and internet lengend to be) when Sweeny and Spaca were convincing Danny to silver him just for being cool!
I didnt go to the club :( I was too drunk and tired.I wish I had though. Ah well, next time.
Sunday saw more shopping! Covent Garden this time :) then to the ZOO! I saw Tigers! and Lions! No bears though.. but Monkeys and Butterflies and all sorts :) It was very chilly though.
Then we came home. And it was rubbish. I'm getting used to it now though. Ah well, back to the grind, back to the grind ;)
