What a way to start the month. A fun filled weekend with some of the people I love most in the world, whom I hardly ever get to see. (Notice that I feel so strongly about these people that I use correct grammar! ooOOOooo!)

Friday.. I get a train to doncaster, and a connecting train to Birmingham. By a genius stroke of luck, my connecting train happens to be the one from Newcastle which is winging Lou down to Birmingham also :D There was also a baby dressed up as a small animal.
When we get to the station, we meet up with Adam and Toby. Toby gives us an onion each. Why? I hear you ask.. because he is Toby!
We then make our way to a small but very cool bar with the help of Chez and Ade, and meet up with everyone else and make our way to... wait for it... The Pad Thai KAREOKE RESTURANT. Oh Yes. We got put in our own little room so as not to inflict our singing on the other patrons and had a brilliant time!



Saturday.. was wonderful! I got to see so many people I love and meet a few new ace people too! Baby D has grown into the most delightful beautiful little thing ever, and she can say my name!!
We had a great meal for a fiver at an all you can eat chinese place! Seriously it was SO. GOOD. I introduced lou to the delights of chinese food :) She was a good student :) And I had 2 cakes for pudding, with a HUGE pile of ice cream on each :D Not as many as Adam though. Adam had 5!! I also gave Buzz a wham fringe. It looked goooood :)
The duck race was mucos fun (even if the TV people didnt come to play!) And my feet got very wet from duck rescuing! Chalk is good too :) I liked writing the messages on the big concrete spheres :)
OH and I got to go to the childrens hospital to give them all the donations we'd gotten together! It was wonderful! A big huge pile of toys and cds and dvds and games and books... :D

which is ACE!
So.. from the hospital we made our way to the pub! Except, on the wat to the pub, we passed a coffee shop/ tea room. And people started waving at us. So we waved back! And lo! They were some joinees we'd left at whore fountain earlier! (I would like to point out that whore fountain is actually called 'The Floozy in The Jacuzzi', but I couldnt remember it, so we nicknamed it!) So we went in and had pastry and tea before finding the pub :)
Much Much MUCH fun was had in the pub! There was the photo quiz (I cant belive Lou n Laura didnt know their own chins! And I thought both their chins were boys chins!) and 'Who's in The Bag?' (He's fat.. He's bald.. 'Tim Kennington!' no.. he's a religious figure.. 'Buddah!' / used to be a classical singer.. now she's a slut.. 'Charlotte Church!' / every clue given ever 'JESUS!' 'CELINE DION!' 'THE POPE!') Me and Buzz created the ultimate crime :D I met Suzi cooley (and very lovely she is too!) Got almost-raped by Biddle, drew on people with chalk, got drawn on with chalk, and generally had a brilliant time :D

After the pub the hardcore people went to Snobs. It. Was. Ace. Old school indy music the likes of the beatles etc, they had huge screens playing Ghostbusters(!) much dancing / being picked up by phil ensued. I also has the funniest conversation with Buzz ever. He kept telling me about a guy called 'jody' I kept telling him that was a girls name.. actually he was saying 'gerdie' in his wierd manchester-y accent, and I was hearing him in Hull.. well, it was funny at the time!



When we eventually got in (after racing like scalectrix, chips without chip spice :( and lots of drunken chatter) Me, Giu and Lou shared a kids single bed. Sardines is putting it mildly! (If ever you need sypmathy from Ms Massara, you'd better make sure she's at a good temperature! If she's slightly chilly she just wont care!)



Sunday the people who crashed at chez Parkin / Worthington went for lunch at spoons. Twas yummy :) But I got muchos bullied!

Then we had to go home :( but I got to go most of the way (all the way to doncaster!) With Lou, which was fun :) even though we were both oh so very tired!

I miss everyone! Can't wait to see them all again! xxxx
